Awesome Living

Awesome Living
“It’s the simple things that make life awesome.” +Baker

Awesome living, it’s something we all want. I know that I live an aweome life. I am living an awesome life, and that is not egotistical. It’s just the way it is. People that live aweome lives like me are shining from within. I don’t concern myself with the good or the bad that people are doing in life. It is not my mission to save the world. My mission is to spread light and be the authentic me that lives an awesome life.

Do I have bad days? Yes. There are times when things seem very challenging in life. But, even at that I find the awesomeness. But, I continue to live an awesome life because I focus on awesome.
For example, I had a salad this morning, it had my favorite salad dressing: blue cheese. Some people might not like blue cheese as a salad dressing, heck some people may not even like salad. But I do, and I think it is awesome that I get to eat healthy food with dressing that I think is delicious. That is a small example of how awesome I am living. It is very simple to some, but that’s the secret. It’s the simple things that make life awesome.

What is My Point?
Maybe in life there really doesn’t need to be a point to anything. Maybe I’m just typing here expressing my gratitude for a couple of people to read this, and maybe they can find something simple in this writing that sparks some kind of creative juice within them to make them happy. The intent of this post is not to blow you away. Although, I am blown away daily by how simple my life is and how awesome it is at the same time. I’m acknowledging the basics here. These basics lay the foundation for the beyond successful life that I lead. I had a salad, I enjoyed it in the present moment, I am writing to you now fully present enjoying it. Later on the day, I may go for a sunset run by the lake. I might even have another blue cheese salad for lunch and a delicious mouth watering fish burrito, who knows. All I know is that life is awesome and I’m enjoying the very simple things in the moment that allow that awesomeness to flow in. You can do the same if you want, it’s your choice.

Awesome living,

Being Present

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”
-Buddah

This past week I’ve made an honest effort to stay more in the present moment. What I have found is that the longer I stay out of the present moment awareness, the more challenging it is to get back into it. In other words, the reason I chose to make a real effort to be in the present moment at the start of this week, is because the week prior I’ve been a little scattered and misplacing my energies into too many activities.
So I began this week trying to get into the present moment more. However, the interesting thing about “trying” to get into the present moment simply doesn’t work for me. It’s not something I can’t try to do. It seems the more I try to be present, what I’m seeking moves further away from me.
What I’ve done instead of trying to be more present, was to just accept whatever is in front of me that I must work with at the moment. Its more of being aware of what I’m doing at the exact moment, and accepting whatever comes to me in that exact time. I have found that if I keep my mind in awareness and acceptance of what is, I can go pass this whole idea of “trying to be present.”

Letting It Go

I have found that this week things tend to go so much more smooth and easier when I just let go and detach myself from trying to “get to” a certain outcome. For example, I wanted my Arizona video to be perfect. I wanted it to resemble a sense of inspiration and empowerment to my viewers. However, if I continued to think about perfection the whole way through the process of making the video, the video itself would never be released because I would be always constantly try to make changes on it and never really feel it is getting to where I want it to go. So I actually spent several weeks trying hard to put a video together that resembled the infant stages of my Arizona trip and blend it in nicely with quotes that I’ve used in this blog for optimal effect. I was trying to piece this video together, and just kept running into a wall. It just wasn’t working out trying to do it myself.

The Solution

So, I paid my wonderful, highly organized, and talented sister to do the video for me. Now this type of video creation comes very easy and naturally for her. In fact she loves doing this. So thank you Kimbundance for making this video for me, it came out just the way I wanted it and more so. So I am grateful for the successful collaboration.
The combination of detachment and letting things go, and being aware in the present moment has been a truly amazing experience for me. I hope this real life example has demonstrated for my readers the positive results of being present and detached in what you are aiming to accomplish. If not, that’s fine too I really don’t care either way.

Being Present,

+Baker

Being In Alignment With Who You Really Are

“Wherever you go, go with all your heart.” ~Confucius

Hello all.
It is easy in today’s world to get caught up in the ideas of what society demands from you. However my question is, in the process of trying to fit this mold that society wants from you, do you lose alignment with who you really are?
In other words is what society is trying to make you, who you really believe you are? Or are the demands of the outside world actually the exact opposite of what you feel yourself to truly be?

Conforming to Society May Conflict With Who You Are
From my experience, I would say yes. Yes, trying to hard to conform to certain demands and wants of the outside world does get you out of alignment with who you really are. The truth is that this misalignment can come from several people and places. It can come from your workplace, well meaning parents, authority, acquaintances, television programs etc.
Only you can choose to know what energies are pulling you towards your true self, or further away from you true self.

3 Easy Steps to Get More In Alignment With Who You Really Are

1. Spend time alone. This is hard for most people. But time alone and in meditation, is probably the best advice I would give to anyone searching for their true self. This true self comes from listening to the silence that is truly you. This is not the you the outside world say you are, but the you that YOU know you are. Take your time, and really listen to your inner guidance.

2. Write it out. Write out characteristics that you find in yourself that you are happy about. What are some things that you do very well and effortlessly? Begin writing this out as a form of gratitude. As you write out these good qualities within yourself, begin to feel gratitude and good about these qualities. Keep this written material somewhere sacred, and refer back to this on a monthly basis. As you Reaffirm to yourself, the good qualities that you possess regularly, you will gradually see you getting in touch and alignment with your true self.

3. Help others become more in alignment with themselves. As you become more clear on your true alignment, you will feel the need to help others. Remember you can only really help people who are ready for your new found wisdom. This was an important lesson for me personally. I had to learn that the more I tried helping people who weren’t ready for it, the more difficult it was for me and them. When the student is ready the master will appear. Point out with sincerity the good qualities and talents that you see in others. Teach them what has worked for you, and guide them with love. By helping those who are ready for your guidance, you actually tune into even more of who you really are, because a fulfilled life really does begin and end with the service and value you provide to others. You will come full circle.

With Gratitude,
BAKER SIGNITURE

You Don't Need Permission To Soar

soar

Hello all.
Many times in life we look for others to give us permission to soar above and beyond our goals. You need to stop thinking that there is one absolute answer to everything. When choosing to follow your dreams or do what everyone else is doing is to realize that you don’t need permission to soar. You have been socially conditioned to believe that there are limits to what you can accomplish. In reality there aren’t any limits to what you can be, do, or have. You set the limits and you create what you want to experience.
When you are met with challenges in pursuit of your dreams, realize that these are just small tests along the way to see if you are certain on your course of action.
The only real permission that matters is the permission you give yourself. Take some time out of your day to reflect on what you really want out of life. Write down the action steps you believe will get you to where you want to go. Seek advice from those that actually have gone the same route you intend to experience.

This post has nothing to do with what other people want you to become, and everything to do with what you want to become. When you live your life in other people’s eyes, there will always be something in the back of your mind that says, “What if?”

What if I decided to follow my dreams?
What if I did decide to follow my heart? etc.

Living your life through what others want from you makes you a victim. If you constantly do what others want from you, then you are subject to blame those same people in the future, if later you find yourself unhappy with the outcome.

You would rather fail at something you feel is right and be content with the decision, then succeed at something that someone else feels was right for you, and be unhappy.

What I’ve come to learn is that there is no one person at the end that says: “Yes you can.” There really is no such thing as a hero. You are the hero. This is your story. If you choose to be.

Give yourself the permission to soar.

Follow the light

Light?

Life is energy. There are many different energies out there. We need something real. I’m tired of people out there giving advice and strategies out there for you to make a major change in your life, with the pure intent to make money. I am disgusted with the many get rich schemes that fool people into giving them money for something that has no real value. If your intent is to leave this place a more positive and better place you are doing things out of your true nature. Your true nature is to give. Your true nature is to share your talents. Go back to what you know.

Don’t be fooled by society. Create your own society. Create a society of people that laugh at negativity. A society that doesn’t concern itself with what the media tells them is right. I have a secret I want to share with you. You probably intuitively know about this but here it goes. Most of the stuff on T.V is not good. Most of the stuff on T.V is a programing for you to be mediocre, and be miserable.

T.V Experiment

Try this. Tonight watch T.V a little different. Watch the show or whatever it happens to be and listen very closely to the message it is trying to convey. Listen with close attention as to what direction the show or whatever you are watching is trying to sway. What is the purpose and intent of the characters in the show? What are they trying to show me? What is the point ? Is it positive or negative?

I personally don’t watch T.V . Spending my leisure time reading books that have been written by authors that have great success works best for me. How do I know that what I read is good? Experience. If I take out just a fraction of the information I’ve read in a book/blog/website and then apply it to my own life and my own business I physically see the difference. Seeing for myself if there are real results is important. Most of the time I find great results from it. I read blogs and websites that I know are aimed at swaying my mind into something good and uplifting. We need people that really stand for something good. We need the light. It is easier to get caught up in a negative state of being, vs being in a positive state of being. If you follow the light you will come out on top. Doing what is good for the greater good of all concerned will take you to plains of existence you never thought possible.

I have seen a lot of in my life. I have seen negativity kill people. I have seen positivity heal people. I have been blessed with encountering people with mental illnesses. The reason I say with utter confidence and conviction that I have been blessed, is because I understand that everything happens for a reason. They speak of a blessing in-disguise.These people’s mental disabilities have helped me figure out what I am here to do in this life. This life is amazing because I can see inspiration where others see desperation. I can see the good in something that seems obviously bad. My life is amazing because I been blessed to see the lessons in everything. I learn from these experiences. It is vital for me to share this and let you know that if you are going through rough times or have people around you that are not lifting you up and rather tearing you down, that just means you have to learn something. For me it was patience. I had to learn to be more patient and compassionate. In that patience and compassion I have found success. Following the light takes you one step closer to experiencing Beyond success. If you don’t believe this ask about me. I live this stuff in real life, and it’s exciting.

How the Current Economy Presents Tremendous Opportunity for You: The Spiritual Revolution

sky123

“The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can’t be organized or regulated. It isn’t true that everyone should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.”
- Ram Dass

Hello all.
We are in the midst of a great collapse of the U.S economy. This is an exciting time to be living. The reason it is exciting, because if you see the opportunities that are present during these current times, and seize them you will be a very accomplished individual 5 years from now.

The opportunities that are presented are becoming more visible to those that are living consciously. Those that are seeing what is missing in the world today will reap great rewards in the future. The amazing thing about this all is that we are headed towards the very basics again.
The idea of unity, peace, and compassion for ourselves and others is making a major comeback. What I see that is happening now, is that old systems are failing. The old ideas of corporate ladder climbing is crumbling. The government is starting to
fail because the original intent came from a dark place. This may have been through greed, pride, and other selfish motives. The industrial age thinking is starting to really collapse because a new era is emerging. This goes beyond the Information age era. What we are entering as collective human beings is a spiritual revolution.

The Spiritual Revolution

The spritual revolution is being felt by many people that are tuned into their intuition. You can see it in the eyes of children, they know what is happening, but most don’t have the ability to communicate it effectively.
The tables are turning, those that live consciously and work from their soul will be the new leaders of this nation. Those fixated on their ego desires will slowly diminish.

The current economy will allow you to really take a look inside yourself and see what the world is in need of. The answers are going to be felt and inspire you to move in the right direction. The tremendous opportunities are already here, you just need to be open to them and accept the changing world that you are currently in.

These are the times to follow your heart, and watch in amazement at how this simple habitual act will take you to places beyond your wildest dreams. The current economy presents tremendous opportunity for you because the spiritual revolution is here.

Slumber not in the tents of your fathers! The world is advancing. Advance with it!

An Empowering Blog-And Creatively Accomplishing Goals.

Hello all.
This blog post is empowering. This blog post is because I “choose” it to be, but also it is highly empowering because, I wrote as one of my goals to accomplish for today, was to write an empowering blog.

Every night before I go to bed I write down a goals that need to be accomplished the next day. The goal listed for today was to write an Empowering Blog. I am currently accomplishing this goal as I type.

This small example is just a way for the readers to see that whatever goal you set out however large or small, if you find a creative way to accomplish it, it still can be accomplished. This blog post is a form of “Thinking Outside the Box.” Creative ways of accomplishing a goal is a lot more fun and exciting. Sometimes doing something creative in order to accomplish your goal, may even have a better result v.s accomplishing the goal the “regular way.”
There are several ways to accomplish your goals, you can go at it hard, or simply \ be creative with it. Either way the goal is accomplished, if you put in the work necessary.

This has been an Empowering Blog.

Nick Hall - Familiar Patterns

Excellent short and to the point by Nick Hall on Familiar Patterns.
"I know what I have to do, but why don't I do it?"

Enthusiasm & Joy!!!

stacked-gold-bars

Hello all.
Many people try to overcomplicated things. I believe that at the core of everything you take on, if there isn’t enough enthusiasm or joy, the chances of you going in the wrong direction is very high. Now a lot of people do things because they feel the “have to.” I don’t believe you “have to” do anything. You were put here to express enthusiasm and joy in all that you do, and allowing others to be blessed by this. It always goes back to your personal belief systems. Something is only as important to you because you believe it to be.

“Beliefs have the power to create and the power to destroy. Human beings have the awesome ability to take any experience of their lives and create a meaning that disempowers them or one that can literally save their lives.”
-Tony Robbins

HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR ENTHUSIASM & JOY ON A REGULAR BASIS?

Now a lot of people ask me, but how do you keep your enthusiasm and joy when everything around me isn’t working? I say, your view on life is all based on your own perspective. Yes, maybe things didn’t go your way when you wanted it to, but how you deal with it or how you resolve it is always and will always be your choice. Does it get difficult sometimes? Yes. It does get difficult to realize that you are fully responsible for the way you react towards challenges that come your way. But does this make you a stronger and better person? Yes. I believe it does. When you begin to realize that all the reactions that you have deep within you are just your own feelings towards a certain outcome, than you really get an honest look at who you are. If you are willing to change this, remember that it is just a matter of internally changing the way you look at your situation.

ENTHUSIASM & JOY IS A CONSCIOUS DECISION INDIVIDUALS MAKE FOR THEMSELVES

The people living with a sense of enthusiasm and joy everyday I believe make this consious decision for themselves. It really is a choice of the individual to live in this manner. Just as it is a choice for an individual to live in sorrow, or fear. Is it easier to live in sorrow and fear in this society? Yes. It is easier because it seems like the more comfortable choice. It takes a lot more out of a person to bring enthusiasm and joy to the table, especially in these current times we live in. I believe everyone has this ability to shift their focus on what they truly want to bring about in their lives. So although living a life filled with enthusiasm and joy may sound very appealing to many people, the reality is that if you really wanted to be at this level, you would have to make the conscious choice to do so. It all begins with your choice.

“Joy comes from using your potential.”
-Will Schultz

BEGIN NOW!

If you want to start living with enthusiasm and joy and have all these positive experiences come your way, you certainly can! It’s all a choice. Nobody can take this away from you. You were given this power, all you really need to do is start utilizing this power on a daily basis. Seek out things that empower you, and make you feel good! As you seek out these things, begin to focus on the joy it brings you and stay on that course.

“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

At Your Own Pace, There Is No Race.

Allpics

Hello all.
When you go about your projects at your own pace, you realize there is no race.
Some individuals like to take their time and thoroughly think things through and this is where they feel most comfortable. Some individuals are more effective when they rush through things, and move fast. The interesting thing about being in the pursuit of your goals, is that the more you stay at your own pace, fast or slow, the better it feels, and the results seem much better at the end.

However, I want to remind my readers that the “process” alone is where the success and juice of life resides. When you are focused on the present moment, fully aware of your action steps you are operating at your own pace, you begin to realize that there really is no “race.” One step at a time is all it takes to stay at your comfortable pace.
When you happily and steadily go about your projects you will find an inner sense of accomplishment as you are moving along. The end result is minimized, and the present moment becomes maximized.
There is nothing wrong with thinking you are racing against someone or trying to beat someone, but the reality is that you set the pace. Enjoy the race, be comfortable with it, after all, it was what you created.

At Your Own Pace, There is No Race.

Where Amazing Really Happens

meditating2

Hello all.
Amazing really happens wherever you are at. You don’t really need to search outside of yourself to find amazing. Amazing is in everything you do and the value you provide for many people. Amazing happens as soon as you get up in the morning ready to create and provide value to people that are eagerly waiting to hear from you.

“Where Amazing Happens”
-National Basketball Association Playoffs Slogan

You may have those times in life where things aren’t moving along and you feel stuck, these are times when you are not recognizing the amazing inside of you. The moment you begin to recognize the amazing in you, acknowledge it and continue forward on your life’s mission. Although I can’t tell you exactly what your life’s mission is, I know that this amazing quality that is inside of you is what will push you forward to be, do, and have what you want in life.

Begin now to develop a service oriented approach to life, focus on providing positive value to others in whatever way you can. We live in a society that believes in high achievement and success. Generally speaking, this society conditions people to find amazing outside of themselves. However, I believe that in order to reach what I call Beyond Success, you must find the amazing inside of you first. When you are highly creative, and moving along at your pace and making moves in this world, you are acknowledging the Amazing in your spirit, and sharing it with others.

Amazing really happens with you.

Why Doing What You Love, Never Fails.

kimmarksart.com

Doing what you love never fails. First of all, if you are doing what you love, then you are in an energy of joy. The energy of joy is a great natural feeling. We were made to all experience this type of joy. This energy of joy cannot let you down.

If you did what you loved and didn’t make money, it still never failed you because the action was already in itself a representation of taking action on your joy.
Thus, doing what you Love never fails you. It is only the moment we try to rationalize what we are doing as being either productive or unproductive that makes it so.

So let’s say someone does what she loves for a living. As an example let’s say this lady loves to paint. However her painting all day long doesn’t pay her rent. Keep in mind, (painting is what brings her joy). However, if she says to herself “What I really love doing” is not paying the rent, I have to quit painting. Then she can easily mistake doing what she loves, as doing something wrong. She just associated the inability of paying her rent with the fact that she was getting joy out of what she loved.

She may unconsciously tell herself in her own head, “I love painting, but I have to make money, therefore my love for painting needs to stop, and I need to work for something I may not like, to make ends meet, how dare I try to do something I love, mother was right!”

This is dangerous. The mind game she is playing with in her head is highly dangerous. This can actually lead to more negative conditions in the future. For example if in the future, the opportunity to paint comes around, she may actually begin to despise it altogether. This is simply because she linked a negative association (not having enough money to pay rent) with painting.

The opposite is also true. If she continued to paint, and let’s say still did not make money from it, and said “That’s fine, I’ll continue painting because it brings me joy, I just need to find a creative way to make money from this.” Then at that point she is proving to herself and the universe that what she does for a living will not only pay her rent, but more importantly allow her even more positive associations with doing what she loves.

The fact here is this, Do what you love regardless if it pays you or not, because it will be rewarding for you personally, and if you stay doing it, eventually you will gain confidence that doing what you love, never fails. The only real failure is in telling yourself that doing what you love is wrong.

Always Optimistic,

Truth Wisdom and Awakening

Hello all.

Truth Wisdom and Awakening will be found in delivering positive value during these rough financial times.

Delivering Positive Value Today

Delivering positive value is important during these hard economical times. With people loosing their jobs at historical rates, this alternative route is probably the most logical. This alternative is to create positive value to people and deliver it to individuals. This is not overly complicated. This is actually so easy that many people have to question its validity.

There is an abundance of different alternatives to create value and deliver it to people. Social media and the internet is making it easier for people to hop on to a computer and create something of value. For example when I’m writing this blog, I am sparking ideas and valuable information for people that probably never heard of this concept of “delivering positive value”. This bring me great joy. I am glad to know that what I am creating is something of positive value for you. These are the times we need to share and be grateful for the abundance of positive information that is presented to us.

Constantly struggling by searching for jobs that aren’t even close to your life mission, takes you further away from your creative spirit. It drains your energy. Once you begin to run away from your natural ability to create, you gave away your power. And to what did you give your power to?

You will be surprised of the endless abundance of opportunities that arise when you are focused on creating and delivering positive value for others to enjoy and be inspired by. You will find your truth, open up to greater wisdom and experience awakening when you focus on delivering positive value to others.

A Cool Head.

Hello All.
Beyond Success is about keeping a cool head at all times. When things go wrong, being the cool headed nonchalant person in the room is essential. A cool headed person is relaxed, easygoing, and not overly concerned with the petty things that get in the way of beyond success. A cool head means that you are comfortable in your own state of being. A cool headed person has an inner knowing that regardless of the outcome in any situation, all is well, because he or she chose that to be so.

A cool head is confidence, it’s knowing what to do and when to do it. There are no actions steps that are unnecessary. When you have a cool head, all action steps taken are natural and effortless. Keep a cool head, and let it flow. You will be amazed by the cool results.

The Power of Vision Boards

Hello.
I’d like to give you a brief description of what a Vision Board is according to Cornelis Boertjens
CEO of OrangePeel Vision Boards.

A vision Board is A very powerful way to use visualization is by creating a so called “Vision Board”, also known as a “Dream Board”. It is one of the most powerful ways to put the law of Attraction to work for you. A Vision Board is a collage of pictures of the goals and dreams you want to attract in your life. Important is to really use the exact image of what you want to attract, as whatever you show on your Vision Board will become part of your reality! So if you want a specific kind of car, make sure it is exactly the type, model and color you desire.

A very basic and fun way of creating a Vision Board is by taking a big piece of carton, scissors, glue and tons of magazines. Go through the magazines and search for images of your dreams, or search for the right images on the internet. Cut out the images and glue them on your cardboard. For more power, add affirmations such as “I love driving my new Porsche” or “I spend lots of quality time with my family”. This reinforces what you desire. Hang your cardboard on a spot where you will see it on a very regular basis, such as at your desk or in the kitchen. Look at it daily, and really FEEL as if you have already achieved the things on your Vision Board. Look at your Board as often as possible with focused intent. You will be surprised to see the things on your Vision Board show up in your life –sooner or later- providing you keep putting your intention on them and stay positive.

By looking at your Vision Board on a consistent (daily) basis, you will manifest the life you truly desire and deserve!

I have a vision board in my home office. It has been a very powerful tool for me personally, I highly recommend that people make one , and have fun with it. You will be surprised by the results!

I will Write about Something Good-Positive Energy

plus-sign

Today I am going to blog about something Good. This blog is pure positive good energy. Being positive is very natural for some people, while other have to logically try to still see if it makes sense. However my worry is that people try to analyze the concept of positive energy “too much” and actually go in the opposite end of what Positive energy really is.

Positive energy is something you feel more than anything else. Positive energy is the key factor in achieving beyond success in anything you undertake. It is the fuel that makes the process much more exciting and worthwhile.
When I take on projects, I only take them on if it feels right. When I say feels right, I have to know that there is enough positive energy into what I’m doing, or I just cut it out completely. Energy goes where Intention goes. So if you intend on positive you receive positive experiences. If you intend on negative you receive negative experiences.
Letting your positive emotions guide you is usually the best thing to do when determining which direction to go.

What I can say with certainty is that positive energy feels better than negative energy.

Letting your positive emotions guide you is usually the best thing to do when determining which direction to go.

P.S The reason I use (+) before Baker when I write something is because I am Positive :)
